Hello Everyone,
As a fellow in the Social Science Academy of China, I lead, participated, and organized major research projects, such as editing the Dictionary of Contemporary Literature Terms. I was a professor of Chinese composition and Chinese modern literature. My dedication to Chinese language and literature is a life-long pursuit and I hope to share my experiences and reflections on these subjects with you.
Below are some of my published academic papers and articles for those who might be interested in diving deeper into Chinese literature and culture. Currently, I am working on The Learning Lotus Project , a project focused on creating visual-based learning systems for reading and writing Chinese characters. From my experiences teaching the Chinese language in the U.S., instruction in the areas of reading and writing Chinese is comparatively less developed than instruction in speaking Mandarin Chinese. I hope this project will serve as a solution to fill this Chinese language learning gap.
